Q&A
Q: What is a Conservation Plan?
A: The Conservation Plan is a document which explains the history, the people and associations of a place, its architecture, landscape, condition and
the significance of a site. It identifies how that significance is vulnerable and sets out policies and recommendations for retaining that significance in any
new use, management regime or alteration that the place may undergo. Conservation Plans include what you need before you make major decisions regarding a place that has cultural heritage value.
